SHIPPING & RETURNS

SHIPPING POLICY

Rather than charging a high premium for our bikes and having "free shipping", we at Spectrum Bikes price our products competitively and charge for actual shipping; lowering the cost for our customers. Since we are based out of the Pacific Northwest, people in the West stand to benefit more than people from the East, so our apologies for that.

Your new ebike will be delivered to you via ground shipping. IE - Typically FedEx or UPS. The bike comes in two boxes, a large oversized box with the bike and accessories and a second hazardous box, containing the battery. Both boxes require a signature from the recipient. The purchaser /recipient of the bike is responsible for inspecting the package before signing for it.

At this time we only offer delivery to deliverable addresses (no PO boxes) in the contiguous lower 48 states.

Local delivery and setup are available, with pre-approval from Spectrum Bikes. We accept deliveries within 100 miles of Spokane, WA.

​​RETURN & EXCHANGE POLICY​

At Spectrum Bikes we take pride in our products. If the situation arises where a return is desired we will accept it within 14 days of delivery. However, it is expensive to return the bike and as such results in a prorated return. A return would be pricey due to the size of the ebike and the hazmat requirements of the battery's shipping.

Terms for Return

​

  • Original shipping charges are non-refundable.

  • Pre-approval is needed to return an ebike to Spectrum Bikes. If a return is desired please contact us at info@spectrum_bikes.com to initiate the process.

  • We can supply a prepaid shipping label (paid by the customer) for boxes.

    • Images of the battery's packaging must be supplied to receive a prepaid label because this is a hazmat shipment.

  • Images of the battery must be submitted to Spectrum Bikes since it is a hazmat item, in order to receive a prepaid label.

    • Image #1 - Battery packaged in original box, properly loaded in the shipping pouch with adjacent packing in place with box lids open.

    • Image #2 - Original box, taped well and hazmat ready for the label.

      • If original packaging is absent this will require taking the battery to an authorized hazmat shipper and having the battery packaged and returned to our location. In this scenario, we can supply the battery documentation for the hazmat shipper. However, there is a $95 charge for this service.

  • Prorated Return

    • Restocking fee - 25%, if bike condition is "like new" and less than 20 miles. Additional mileage or damage during return or prior result in additional fees and will be determined by Spectrum Bikes' staff.
